Cyberjaya is a township that forms a key part of the Multimedia Super Corridor in Malaysia. It is located in the district of Sepang, Selangor and is situated about 50 km south of Kuala Lumpur. This township was previously an oil palm plantation area. It is now developed into an intelligent garden city.

Most people living in this city are knowledge workers in the 250 companies located in the township as well as students from Multimedia University and Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. Due to high costs many of those working or studying in this city normally live in Dengkil, Kota Warisan and also Puchong.

Cyberjaya also acts as a leading edge multimedia centre and having sophisticated and state-of-the-art integrated infrastructure, the ultra-modern city is set to be the main attraction for world-class multimedia and information technology (IT) companies.

Attractions

This city is well-known for its beautiful landscaped gardens and parks, namely the Neighbourhood Park and the Lake Gardens. The Cyberjaya Community Recreation Club is also set to open where you can enjoy everything under one roof – badminton, squash and tennis courts, table tennis and snooker room, swimming pool, gym, function hall, jogging track and a futsal court complete with artificial grass.

The exterior of the Lim Kok Wing University College of Creative Technology itself is an art to be appreciated. An inventive structure inside out, the entire building is adorned with a fusion of steel infrastructural beams and enormous slabs of glass panes.

Food

Some people said it is hard to find good places to eat at Cyberjaya. If you get bored eating at the Food Court, you can drive to Dengkil or Putrajaya.
